    Which of our three goals do you feel you improved upon the most? Better reader, better writer, or better speaker and listener? I feel that I have improved my writing skills the most. As I look over all the essays I have written this year, I think they have improved tremendously. After each essay or writing assignment I had, I would look over what I did wrong. Then, I would learn from those mistakes and apply what I learned to the next writing assignment. Also, I have learned many new techniques that have helped to make my style of writing better. Writing has always been a weak point for me, but, thanks to what I learned this year, it has become one of my high points.
    How has this course helped you to become a more caring, competent, contributing citizen in an ever-changing global community? This course has taught me how to become a better person through the books that we read, especially Tuesdays with Morrie. This book really impacted me because of all the life lessons that I learned. Also, the different activities we did in class helped me experience having responsibilities and working hard. When I got to work with a group, I learned a lot about working with others and compromising, and I learned how contributing my part to the group is important.

    Course Reflections:
    Which of our three goals do you feel you improved upon the most? Better reader, better writer, or better speaker and listener? I feel that I have improved my writing skills the most.     What will you take away from this class? What will you remember? I will take away all the many things I have learned from this class, from writing and reading skills, to lessons from the books we read. Also, thanks to our vocab words, I can improve my vocabulary and impress my future English teachers. I will remember the many interesting discussions we had in class, and all the books that we read. I am glad we were able to read many books because each book that we read has changed me in a way that I will never forget.

    Did I give my personal best? I think that I definitely gave my personal best. In life, I try to give everything I do my best shot, even if my best shot is not that great. On tests and quizzes I try to think positive and give them my greatest effort, and I think that I had the same attitude in this class.

    Tuesdays with Morrie is packed with many lessons that can make a huge impact in our everyday lives. In every chapter, Morrie gives us advice on how to live a happier, more satisfied live. We learn that love is the most important thing we can give, and it is also very important to accept love from others. Also, Morrie talks about being satisfied. He says that people in this world today think that satisfaction comes from material things, and when they do not get the satisfaction they want, they buy more of those things, because that is what they have been told to do. The truth is, the only way we can be satisfied in this life is to give to others. Even if we do not think we have much to give, we can find a way to use our talents and hobbies for the good of others. Another thing we can learn from this book is how to accept being dependent. This world tells us that we need independency, to be our own person without the help of others, but, if we truly did not have the help of others, we would not survive. There is nothing wrong with being independent, but we need others to love and help us with our lives. Morrie also talks about death. He says that death is not a bad thing, despite what we have heard about it. We should not fear death, but we should realize that we are going to die and we should live a better life because of that. If we live like each day could be our last, we would do more with our lives and be more satisfied when we grow old and look back at what we have accomplished. It is important to take each of these lessons and apply them to our lives, so we can live a wonderful, joyous life.

    In this quote, Morrie explains that love is an important component in our lives, and in order to live a happy, satisfied life, you should give out love to everyone, and you should learn to take it in.
